Our Origin
The Co-Angler
The idea for our first product, The Co-Angler, was born from the need for efficiency and accessibility. After countless prototypes and extensive testing, the founder and his brother crafted a fishing rod holder that revolutionized the co-angler’s experience. This innovation allowed quick access to multiple rods without tangling, drastically improving the angler's performance and focus.
Building Ripjaw
The journey from a product to a brand wasn't straightforward. It involved passionate debates, creative bursts, and a relentless pursuit of what felt right. Finally, we settled on the name 'Ripjaw'—a name that echoed the tenacity and vigor of the fishing spirit. The logo soon followed, a symbol that would soon represent more than just our company.
A Tribute to a Brother
Amidst early triumphs, tragedy struck. The final text to one of the founder’s brothers was a request for approval on the newly designed logo. His response, "I love it," not only gave his blessing but also his last words before he passed away a few days later. It is in his memory that Ripjaw vows to grow and honor the bond of family that fishing has always strengthened.
